Took me long enough, eh?
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes follows the newest reboot of the Planet of the Apes series, started with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Sure, Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes only had one movie to the series, but it still counts as a separate reboot. Either way, Dawn follows a story similar to what horror movie we saw in Battle for the Planet of the Apes, horror movies which is interesting.. if they keep going this way, the next movie'll take place 2000 years in the future. I mean, I doubt that's (blog post) what'll happen but I can dream.
