The Leprechaun
The worst of the Leprechaun horror movie series is Leprechaun 4: In Space. Yes, it takes place in space, but that's what makes it so amazing. Leprechaun 4 is a great example of how to make something "special" out of a totally ridiculous premise. The movie is full of practical effects, creative kills, and Leprechaun quotes that will make you roll on the floor laughing. Leprechaun 4: In Space is a must-see for anyone who likes the Leprechaun movies or scary movies in general.
Pinhead
The series' interesting continuation, Hellraiser: Bloodline, also acts as a prequel. The 1700s, the 1990s, and the 2200s are the three eras that the tale takes place in. Let's face it: I'm really just here for Pinhead and the other Cenobites, so I didn't have very high hopes for the fourth episode of the series. Doug Bradley retains that chilly, menacing, and demonic vibe, making it a delight to see him play. Who cares if this is tough to understand and makes no sense? Bloodline is worth seeing even if you've watched Hellraiser in its entirety because of the gruesome Pinhead moments. Definitely give this one a look if you like Hellraiser or any of Clive Barker's previous books. Even if there isn't a lot of logic to it, the trip is quite enjoyable.
Critters
Critters 4's space setting piqued my interest. How could they top the first Critters? The cast list wasn't encouraging. Dourif? Bassett? Anders Hove, the Danish actor? How could this work?
And I was right after seeing Critters 4. Lousy tale, horrible characters, and a rip-off of other properties in a bad locale. What bothers fans is that the elements that made earlier entries distinctive and enjoyable are gone or not present. Critters 4 is a massive disaster.
Dracula
The horror film Dracula 3000 is one of those rare examples of a horrible horror movie that is so awful that it is almost impossible to watch. I despise Dracula 3000 with a passion. In spite of the fact that it is terrible for the whole of its running length, my primary complaint is that the conclusion was a complete and utter waste of time and left me feeling absolutely disappointed. I had high hopes that "Dracula in Space" would be so horrible that it would be hilarious, but unfortunately, it was so bad that it was awful. Although the idea is entertaining, the performance is subpar, and the conversation is almost insufferable to sit through. If you want to have a terrible mood for the rest of the day, you should definitely watch it.
Also, Coolio. Coolio is one of the stars. Have I already mentioned that?
Jason Voorhees
Jason X is the most well-known horror film sequel in which the villain travels to space. Jason Voorhees is the man, the tale, and the bad horror movies myth. It makes no difference how he arrived into space. Nobody cares why he's in space. All that counts is that Jason is in space, ready to cause mayhem.
I think Jason X is worth viewing for easter eggs and nods to earlier Friday the 13th movies, as well as his transformation into Uber Jason.
Aficionados of campy, cheesy, and slasher flicks will like this movie a lot, even if it isn't everyone's cup of tea. This is a terrific one for the fans of horror movies.
