Leprechaun 2: An Analysis is Analyzed in Detail

How much life this "Leprechaun" series has seen is simply astounding. Over 20 years later, it's still going strong, and a remake is even in the works. However, I guess there is something to be said for this kind of silly entertainment. And it *is* idiotic, no doubt about it. However, it can also be truly humorous at times and has its share of smart moments. The filmmakers of these films are aware that they are not producing Shakespeare, and so they craft amiable horror comedies that may leave some viewers sighing, shaking their heads, and straining to get through them while leaving others having a grand old time. Star Warwick Davis is (blog post) making a difference (it's good to see him so gainfully employed), and his zeal is contagious. He seems to be having a good time.
