In-depth review of the third Leprechaun film

Decker Shado Leprechaun 3 Review

Leprechaun 3 is superior to and inferior to the first two films in the series.

The first act is horrible, yet it manages to keep the audience interested anyhow. Mark Jones, with the exception of his Leprechaun character, is incapable of penning believable conversation.

In the role of Scott McCoy, John Gatins delivered some of television's worst dialogue. Unwatchable.

After Scott becomes infected with the leprechaun's disease in the middle of the second act, the plot takes a turn for the better, (Leprechaun 3 (1995) Review) and from that point on, the audience can expect nothing but a wonderful time.

This time, Warwick Davis gets to say practically all of his lines in rhyme, and he's sometimes downright hilarious in the second act.

Without Davis, these movies would be unwatchable. The Leprechaun has a destructive charm that is entertaining to witness.
