Horror film Leprechaun 3: A Review

Leprechaun 3 is both superior and inferior than Leprechauns 1 and 2.

It does this by having a bad first act, but an amusing first act. This is the key to its success. Mark Jones, with the exception of the Leprechaun character, is incapable of writing believable dialogue even if his life depended on it.

It made me feel sorry for the actor John Gatins, who played Scott McCoy, since his character, a young college student, was given some of the most unbelievable lines in the history of acting. It was so bad that it was nearly impossible to watch.

In the midst of Act 2, the narrative takes a surprising turn when Scott contracts the sickness spread by the leprechaun's blood. After that, though, the audience is in for nothing but a good time.

Warwick Davis (Leprechaun 3: The Horror Movie Review) gets to say almost all of his speech in rhyme this time, which is nice, and in the second act, he sometimes cracks jokes.

Davis is the only reason to see these films; without him, they would be tedious. The Leprechaun have a crushing attraction that is simply simple fun to see when he is around him.
