Monster Island, The Asylum's mockbuster for 2019, was released at the same time that Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Monster Island is an imaginary island, on which may be found a monster.


This asylum movie is budgeted at the cost of a big kid's lunch. To maximize its use, it focuses only on a few actors and records all sequences on one set. However, this is the kaiju genre, so maybe The Asylum won't do a (Monster Island (2019) review) horrible job?
