RoboCop the movie

Omni Consumer Products, the evil corporation that controls the criminally insane, wins a contract to privatize Detroit's police force. In order to prove their crime-eradicating technology, Omni Consumer Products leads Alex Murphy, a street police officer, into an armed confrontation. They then use Boddicker's body to test their (this article) Robocop prototype. RoboCop is shocked to learn of the company's sinister plans.
