The fact that the toughest gang in Detroit is led by a balding, middle-aged white man who resembles a high school administrator and wears glasses is by far the coolest aspect of this, and it works well. Clarence Boddicker is the ultimate bad guy. The ultimate cinematic bad guy. Buy the longer "Director's Cut" which only has ten- to fifteen extra gratuitous seconds (Robocop) in which the OCP CEO is utterly decimated with gunfire. It's worth it, I swear.
