RoboCop review

Robocop, a 1987 film, is violent, rude and cheesy. Peter Weller plays the protagonist. Within 20 minutes, a gang kills him and introduces his character. Near the end of the movie, one character is hurt by toxic waste and dies when he is hit by a car and explodes. But this isn't just random violence; it has to do with the story and the main idea. RoboCop takes place in a future Detroit that is plagued by crime and (blog) where the police cannot restore order. A large company joins forces with the police to sell and make new military gear. This company will clean up, make money and help build a new, more luxurious area of the city.
